AIRPA’s mission is to provide small and medium scale businesses with automation technology that typically has been out of their reach – either because that technology requires too much time to master or is too expensive to acquire – and in doing so, free-up the time of business leaders and their teams to accelerate growth and increase profitability. To deliver on that mission, our initial focus is on the accountancy firms who provide vital professional services and advice to those small and medium size businesses.
The AIRPA team comprises business entrepreneurs who are accountants themselves, who own and operate small businesses and who have a track record of growing successful technology companies. Farooq Raja is an accountant with more than 30 years’ experience. He owns a number of small businesses and is a former partner of a Big 4 accounting firm. He was also owner and CEO of a technology business that specialised in the implementation of accounting systems. Barry Patch has nearly 50 years’ experience as an advisor to businesses and as a partner in an accounting practice.
Farooq and Barry have worked together in a number of business ventures for nearly 40 years and share a passion for improving business through the use of technology. They are supported by Osman Khan. Osman has nearly 15 years’ experience as a strategy consultant and advisor to business and technology companies.
Our technical development team is led by Robert Szasz. Robert has more than 25 years’ experience in solution architecture and design working with major global businesses as well as small technology start-ups. Robert has a BEng in Computing from Imperial College London. Robert is supported by a team of talented SaaS technical specialists including Kamran Rajah and Jack Procopi and the resources of a specialist SaaS cloud technology partners.
With Farooq, Khalil Rehman leads on product development and innovation. Khalil has more than 15 years’ experience working in small and large accounting practices across all the main service areas, compliance, statutory reporting, taxation advice and business advisory. He has considerable knowledge and experience of the leading accounting applications that are used in most successful accounting practice.
Our sales and marketing team is led by Neil Glover. Neil formerly worked with Sage and a number of sector leading Accounting SaaS platforms. His focus is on supporting Accountancy firms whilst planning and executing their cloud strategies.
